FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH STUDENT ROOMS

Duration of the contract
Our contracts start on the 1st of September and always end on the 30th of August. It is not possible to place a domicile in a student room or studio.

Guarantee
Rooms: € 650,00
Studios: € 900,00

Place description
Place description is possible from the 1^st day of the contract, always by appointment. The keys are handed over after payment of the deposit, the first month’s rent and the file costs.

At the start of the academic year, a file fee of € 150,00 is charged, which means: location description, student activities such as a night of fluo, maintenance of the buildings, use of the emergency number and all kinds of odd jobs.

Internet
Internet is usually included in the rent in rooms and studios, unless stated otherwise. We largely work together with Studenteninternet, each student has its own volume per month, with its own login and password. More info on www.studenteninternet.be.

Electricity, gas and water
If there are no fixed costs, electricity, gas and water in rooms and studios are settled every three months on the basis of the meter readings taken, either common meters or individual meters if present.
